FOUNDATIONS OF CREATIVE ARTS AND SPORTS

Creative Arts 🎨🎭🎵
- Visual Arts – drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, beadwork, basketry.
- Performing Arts – music, dance, drama and traditional performances.
- Crafts – pottery, weaving, beadwork (e.g. Maasai and Kamba bead designs), textile work (kanga, kitenge designs).
- Media & Digital Arts – photography, simple video, animation and design.
- Design & Creative Thinking – sketching ideas, stage/ costume design, art appreciation.
Sports & Physical Activities 🏃♀️⚽🏀
- Athletics – running (middle and long distance; Kenya is known for its runners), jumping, throwing.
- Team Sports – football, basketball, volleyball, hockey.
- Individual Sports – swimming, tennis, boxing, martial arts.
- Recreational Games & Traditional Games – ayo, tag, skipping, local playground games.

Simple Classroom Activities (14-year-olds)
