Short Story (Bible):

In the Bible, God made plants on the third day. He said, "Let the earth grow plants." God made trees, flowers and grass. God saw that it was good. (Based on Genesis 1:11–13)

How God made plants (easy):
  • God made seeds, leaves, flowers and fruit.
  • He put them on the land so animals and people can eat and enjoy them.
  • God gives sun and rain to help plants grow.

Simple steps to plant a seed (for children):
  1. Put soil in a small pot or cup.
  2. Put one seed in the soil and cover it gently.
  3. Give the seed a little water.
  4. Put the pot where the sun can reach it.
  5. Watch it grow every day. Say thank you to God!
Memory Verse (easy):

Teacher / Parent Notes (very short):
  • Tell the creation story simply: God made plants on the third day.
  • Show a seed, a leaf or a small plant if possible.
