What is a family? โค๏ธ๐
A family is people who live together and love one another. God made families to care for each other.
In Kenya we may say: Mama (mother), Baba (father), kaka (brother), dada (sister), grandma, grandpa.
Family members ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
- Mother (Mama) โ loves and cares for children ๐งโ๐ผ
- Father (Baba) โ protects and provides for the family ๐ ๏ธ
- Brother (Kaka) and Sister (Dada) โ brothers and sisters play and help each other ๐ค
- Grandparents โ teach us stories and pray for us ๐ต๐ด
What families do โจ
Families do many kind things:
- Love each other โค๏ธ
- Share food and help each other ๐ฒ
- Pray together and go to church ๐โช
- Teach good manners and obey parents โ
What the Bible teaches ๐
God loves families. Jesus said we must love one another. The Bible tells children to obey their parents (Ephesians 6:1).
Memory Verse (short):
