What is a family? โค๏ธ๐Ÿ 

A family is people who live together and love one another. God made families to care for each other.

In Kenya we may say: Mama (mother), Baba (father), kaka (brother), dada (sister), grandma, grandpa.

Family members ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

  • Mother (Mama) โ€” loves and cares for children ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿผ
  • Father (Baba) โ€” protects and provides for the family ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ
  • Brother (Kaka) and Sister (Dada) โ€” brothers and sisters play and help each other ๐Ÿค
  • Grandparents โ€” teach us stories and pray for us ๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ‘ด

What families do โœจ

Families do many kind things:

  • Share food and help each other ๐Ÿฒ
  • Pray together and go to church ๐Ÿ™โ›ช
  • Teach good manners and obey parents โœ…

What the Bible teaches ๐Ÿ“–

God loves families. Jesus said we must love one another. The Bible tells children to obey their parents (Ephesians 6:1).
