Grammar notes (focused for descriptive writing)
- Predicate adjectives after "sein" (no ending):
Ich bin groß. — I am tall.
Die Augen sind blau. — The eyes are blue. - Attributive adjectives before a noun (with possessive or article):
Use adjective endings: examples in nominative:
- masculine: mein großer Kopf
- feminine: meine kleine Hand
- neuter: mein langes Bein
- plural: meine braunen Augen
- Using "haben" to describe what you have:
Ich habe braune Augen. — I have brown eyes.
Note: the adjective changes form when it comes before the noun. - Negation:
Use kein/keine for "no/none": Ich habe keine Brille. — I don't have glasses.
- Word order & punctuation:
Keep simple sentences: Subject — Verb — Description. Example: Ich bin zwölf Jahre alt. Ich habe lange Haare.
Sentence starters (use these to build your paragraph)

- Ich bin ______ Jahre alt.
- Ich habe ______ Haare.
- Meine Augen sind ______.
