- -me- (perfect/completed): Nimeenda β I have gone
- -hu- (habitual): Hupenda β He/she usually likes (used for habitual actions)
- Subjunctive: badilisha vocali ya mwisho a β e, mfano: uende (that you go)
- Imperative: nenda!, kula! (commands)
4. Viambishi vya wateja (Object markers) β muhtasari
Vinaweza kuingizwa kati ya alama ya wakati na mizizi ya kitenzi:
- -ni- (me): Ananipenda β He/she loves me
- -ku- (you): Ninakuona β I see you
- -m- (him/her): Nalimwona β I saw him/her
5. Kukanusha (Negation) β mfupi, ya kawaida
Kukanusha mara nyingi hutumia viambishi vya kukanusha badala ya viambishi vya kawaida vya wati:
- Mimi si-: Mimi sipendi chai. (I do not like tea)
- Yeye ha-: Yeye hajui. (He/she does not know)
- Wewe hu-/ha- (kwa wakati mbalimbali): Wewe huja? (you don't come? β context matters)
Kumbuka: kukanusha vinaweza kuwa na sheria maalum kulingana na wakati; ni vizuri kujifunza kwa mifano mengi.
6. Mifano ya kila wakati

| Past (-li-) | Nilisoma kitabu jana. β I read a book yesterday. |
| Perfect (-me-) | Nimekula chakula. β I have eaten. |

7. Vidokezo kwa wanafunzi wa Kenya (Practical tips)
- Tumia vitenzi vya kawaida vya kila siku: kwenda, kula, kusoma, kufanya, kupenda, kuona β kizuri kwa mazoezi.
- Jifunze mifano kutoka kwa walimu wa darasa au nyimbo za Kiswahili (muziki wa Kenya mara nyingi hutoa vitenzi kwa kawaida).
- Jaribu kuunda sentensi zinazohusiana na mazingira yako (shule, sokoni, nyumba) β inasaidia kukumbuka.
8. Mazoezi mafupi (Try these)
- Tumika kitenzi "soma" kuunda sentensi kwa: sasa, jana, kesho, na umemaliza. (e.g., Nina-soma...)
- Badilisha sentensi ifuatayo kwa aina tofauti: "Anaenda sokoni." β Nilienda sokoni. Nitaenda sokoni.
- Andika amri 3 kwa familia yako kwa kutumia kitenzi "kula" na "lala". (e.g., Lala sasa!)
