How to choose a profession โ€” quick guide for age_replace

  • Think about what you enjoy and what you are good at.
  • Look at local needs: what jobs are in your county? (e.g., farming, tourism, ICT, transport)
  • Find out the training required and costs (TVET vs university vs apprenticeship).
  • Talk to family, teachers and people working in the job you like.
  • Try short experiences (job shadowing, internships, part-time work) if possible.

Class activities (suitable for age_replace)

  1. Role-play: In groups, act out a day in the life of a teacher, nurse, farmer or mechanic. Focus on tasks and tools used.
