Hello! These are simple safety tips to keep you clean and healthy. Ask a grown-up (mama, baba, or teacher) to help you.
  • πŸ§ΌπŸ’§ Wash hands β€” Wash with soap and clean water after the toilet and before eating. Scrub for 20 seconds (sing a short song).
  • 🚽 Use the latrine or toilet β€” Always use a clean toilet or latrine. Wash hands after you go.
  • 🍽️🦟 Keep food safe β€” Eat food that is clean and covered. Do not eat food that fell on the ground.
  • πŸ’§πŸ«— Drink clean water β€” Boiled or treated water is safer. If you are not sure, ask a grown-up to make it safe.
  • βœ‹πŸ§½ Don't share towels or toothbrushes β€” Use your own towel and toothbrush to stop germs spreading.
  • βœ‚οΈ Keep nails short β€” Cut your nails often so dirt and germs do not hide under them.
  • 🩹 Cover cuts and sores β€” If you get a cut, clean it and cover it with a clean cloth or bandage. Tell a grown-up.
  • 😷🀧 Cover coughs and sneezes β€” Use your elbow or a tissue. Throw the tissue away and wash your hands.
  • 🧺 Wear clean clothes β€” Change into clean clothes after they get dirty or wet.
  • πŸ›οΈπŸ¦Ÿ Sleep under a mosquito net β€” This helps stop bites and keeps you healthy (ask a grown-up to help hang it).
  • 🚫 Stay away from dirty water or drains β€” Dirty water can make you sick. Tell a grown-up if you see it.
