Preparing for the Coming of Jesus Christ
What is the Sermon on the Mount?
Jesus taught people on a hill. We find his words in the Bible in Matthew chapters 5–7. He taught how we should live so we can be like him.
The Beatitudes (Short & Easy)
- Blessed are the poor in spirit — God cares for humble people. 🙏
- Blessed are the sad — God comforts those who are hurting. 💧➡️🤍
- Blessed are the gentle — they will get God’s gifts. 🌾

What is Responsible Living?
Responsible living means doing things that please God and help other people. It is about being honest, kind, fair and caring for God’s world.
- Help fetch water or care for younger brothers/sisters. 🚰
- Share your food when someone is hungry. 🍞
- Say the truth and say sorry when wrong. ✔️
- Be kind to classmates — no bullying. 🤝
- Help clean the compound and plant trees. 🌳
- Respect teachers and elders. 🙇♂️

When we follow Jesus' teachings, we grow closer to God. This shows we are ready for when Jesus comes again. Jesus will be happy with people who live with love, kindness and honesty.
