- Use the stories to show love, honesty and courage at home and school.
1. Creation (Genesis 1–2) 🌍
God made the world in six days and rested on the seventh. He made light, sky, land, plants, animals and people (Adam and Eve).
Main lesson: God is the loving Creator and everything He made is good.
Bible reference: Genesis 1–2
Activity: Draw the world in seven boxes — one for each day. In Kenya you can draw the sun, Mt. Kenya, trees and animals like goats and elephants.
Question: How can you show respect for God’s creation at home or at school?
2. Noah’s Ark (Genesis 6–9) 🌈🛶
God told Noah to build an ark to save his family and animals from a big flood. After the rain stopped, God put a rainbow as a promise not to flood the earth again.
Main lesson: Obeying God keeps us safe; God keeps His promises.
Bible reference: Genesis 6–9
Activity: Role-play building an ark using chairs and blankets. Count animals in pairs. Sing a short song about the rainbow.
Question: Why was Noah chosen to build the ark?
3. Moses and the Red Sea (Exodus 14) 🔥🌊
God used Moses to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. When they were trapped at the Red Sea, God made a way by parting the waters.
Main lesson: Trust God when things look hard — He can rescue us.
Bible reference: Exodus 14
Activity: Make a simple paper boat and talk about trusting God when crossing difficult paths in life (e.g., exams or moving schools).
Question: How did the Israelites show that they trusted God?
4. David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17) ⚔️🪨
A young shepherd named David trusted God and defeated the giant Goliath with a sling and a stone.
Main lesson: With God, bravery and faith beat fear and big problems.
Bible reference: 1 Samuel 17
Activity: Safe target game — throw soft balls at a cardboard "giant". Talk about problems that seem big and pray about them.
Question: What helped David to be brave?
5. Jonah and the Big Fish (Jonah 1–4) 🐋
Jonah tried to run away from God's command. After being inside a big fish, he prayed and then obeyed God.
Main lesson: We should obey God and say sorry when we do wrong.
Bible reference: Jonah 1–4
Activity: Memory prayer — learn a short sorry-and-thank-you prayer. Draw Jonah inside the fish.
Question: What did Jonah learn about obedience?
6. Birth of Jesus (Luke 2) ⭐👶

Tip for teachers & parents: Use local examples (e.g., helping a neighbour in your village or town) to make the stories easy to understand for Kenyan children.
Keep lessons short and interactive — 20 to 30 minutes works best for 10-year-olds.
