Short idea
God made everything. He made the world in seven days. We will learn what God made on each day.
Days of Creation (Easy to remember)
God made light. He called light "day" and darkness "night".
God made the sky and the clouds above the earth.
God made the land, plants, and trees (like the mango and acacia trees in Kenya).
God made the sun, moon and stars to give light and mark days and seasons.
God made fish in the lakes and birds in the air (like fish in Lake Victoria and birds in our fields).
God made animals and people. He made us to look after the earth (people, cows, elephants, goats).
God rested. We also rest and thank God for His good gift of the world.
Memory Verse
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." — Genesis 1:1
Short Activity
- Draw one thing God made: a tree, a bird, the sun, or a person.
- Name three animals you see in Kenya that God created (e.g., elephant, zebra, goat).
- Say thank you prayer to God for one thing He made today.
Simple Prayer
Dear God, thank you for making the world. Help me to care for your animals and plants. Amen.
Keep sentences short. Use pictures (drawings or stickers) to show each day. Relate creation to local examples (Mount Kenya, Lake Victoria, farm animals).
