Grade 2 CRE The Holy Bible – The Call Of Samuel Notes
CRE Notes: The Call of Samuel 📖✨
Topic: The Holy Bible — Subtopic: The Call of Samuel
For children aged 7 (Kenya)
Short Story (Easy)
A mother named Hannah prayed to God because she had no children. God heard Hannah and gave her a son. She named him Samuel. When Samuel was a small boy, she took him to serve God at the temple with a priest called Eli.
One night, Samuel slept in the temple. He heard a voice saying his name: "Samuel!" He went to Eli and said, "You called me." This happened three times. Eli told Samuel to say, "Speak, Lord, your servant is listening," if the voice called again.
The voice called again. Samuel answered, "Speak, Lord, your servant is listening." God spoke to Samuel and gave him a message. Samuel grew up to be a faithful prophet who listened to God.
