Grade 2 CRE The Holy Bible – Daniel In The Den Of Lions Notes
Subject: CRE (Christian Religious Education)
The Holy Bible
Subtopic: Daniel in the Den of Lions 🦁
Short Story (simple):
Daniel loved God and prayed to Him every day. Some men were jealous of Daniel and tricked the king. The king made a rule that people must not pray to anyone except the king. Daniel kept praying to God. The men told the king and Daniel was thrown into a den of lions.
God sent an angel and closed the mouths of the lions. Daniel was safe all night. In the morning the king was happy and took Daniel out. The king praised Daniel's God. Daniel trusted God and God protected him.
Important Points to Remember:
- Daniel trusted God even when he was in danger.
- God listens to our prayers. 🙏
- Being honest and loving God is very important.
- God can protect us in scary times.

"My God sent his angel and shut the mouths of the lions." — Daniel 6:22 (short)

Short Prayer (for children):
Dear God, thank you for protecting us. Help us to trust you like Daniel. Teach us to pray and to be brave. Amen. 🙏
Did you know? Lions also live in parts of East Africa. In Kenya, you can see lions in places like the Maasai Mara. Lions are strong, but God is stronger and cares for His people. 🦁🇰🇪
