- Recall and recite a short poem about the early life of Jesus (by heart or with help).
- Name two people who cared for baby Jesus (Mary and Joseph) and say where He was born (Bethlehem).
- Describe one kind thing Jesus did as He grew up and say one way we can be kind like Jesus.
- Participate in a simple class activity (drawing, acting or singing) about Jesus’ early life.

- Listen and Repeat: Teacher or parent reads the poem slowly. Learners repeat line by line until comfortable.
- Draw the Story: Children draw baby Jesus in a manger, Mary, Joseph and a star. Use crayons, paper and simple materials found at home or school.
- Act It Out (Nativity Play): Small groups act the poem. Roles: Baby Jesus (doll), Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels. Use simple costumes (shawls, cardboards).
