Grade 4 CRE Creation – Attributes Of God Notes
CRE (Christian Religious Education)
Topic: Creation
Subtopic: Attributes of God
For learners aged 9 — Kenya
Attributes are qualities or special things about God. They tell us what God is like. When we learn these, we can trust and love God more.
God made everything — the sky, animals, trees and people. (Genesis 1:1) Example: Mount Kenya, the birds you see, the baobab tree — God made them.
God cares for us like a parent. He loves children, even when we make mistakes. Example: God provides food, friends, and family.
God can do all things. Nothing is too hard for Him. Example: He made the sun and the rain.
God knows what is best. He understands everything — even things we don't know. Example: Teachers help us learn; God knows the best way to help us grow.
God is pure and perfect. He is without sin. We show respect to God in church and prayer.
God treats people fairly. He cares about right and wrong. Example: When we tell the truth and say sorry, God helps us do better.
God keeps His promises. He is always with us. Example: God promised to look after His people — He does not forget.
When we say sorry, God forgives us. He shows kindness and gives second chances.
Think of God as someone who made the world, loves you, helps you, and always keeps His promises.
