Grade 4 CRE Holiness – The Meaning Of Holiness Notes
Holiness
Subtopic: The Meaning of Holiness ✨
What is "holiness"?
Holiness means being special and pure for God. God is holy — He is good, pure, and does what is right. When we try to be holy, we try to be like God by doing good things and avoiding bad things.
Easy definition for age 9:To be holy means to love God, be kind, say sorry when we do wrong, and choose what is right.
Why God is called Holy
- God is perfect and never does wrong.
- God is set apart — He is the best and different from everything else.
- Bible says: "Be holy, because I am holy." (Leviticus 19:2)
How we can show holiness (simple ways)

- Tell the truth and do not cheat at school ✅
