CRE: The Teachings of Jesus Christ

Subtopic: The Kingdom of God 🌱

What is the Kingdom of God?

The Kingdom of God means God's rule and love. It is not only a place far away. Jesus taught that the Kingdom starts in people’s hearts when they love God and others. It grows when we do good things and follow Jesus. ✨

Easy examples

  • Helping a sick neighbour β€” that is part of God’s Kingdom. ❀️
  • Forgiving someone in your class β€” God’s forgiveness grows in your heart. 🀝
  • Planting trees or protecting water β€” caring for God’s creation. πŸŒ³πŸ’§

Jesus’ Parables about the Kingdom (short & simple)

Mustard Seed 🌱

Jesus said the kingdom is like a tiny seed that grows into a big tree where birds can rest (Matthew 13:31). Small faith can grow big.

Yeast (Little bit makes dough rise) 🍞

A little good thing can change many people β€” the Kingdom grows quietly and strongly (Matthew 13:33).

Lost Sheep πŸ‘

A shepherd leaves 99 sheep to find the one that is lost. God loves every person and searches for them (Luke 15:4–7).

Kingdom Values β€” How people in the Kingdom live

  • Love God and love people. β€οΈπŸ™
  • Forgive others and say sorry when needed. 🀝
  • Share with those who have less (food, clothes, time). 🍲
  • Be honest and fair at school and at home. βœ…
  • Care for the environment β€” plant trees, save water. πŸŒ³πŸ’§
  • Pray and listen to God. πŸ™
