Luke 7:11–17

Short Story (Easy to read)

Jesus went to a town called Nain. A large crowd was there. They met a funeral procession — a widow was carrying her only son's coffin. Jesus felt sorry for her. He told her, “Do not cry.” Then Jesus touched the coffin and said to the young man, “Young man, I say to you, get up!” The young man sat up and began to talk. Everyone was amazed and praised God. The widow had her son back.
