Subtopic: God's Love For Us

God loves each one of us. He cares for you at home, at school and in church. Jesus taught us that God's love is kind, strong and never ends.

God loves everyone — children and grown-ups, rich and poor, people of Kenya and all countries.
Jesus showed God's love by helping people, healing the sick and being kind.
We show God's love when we are kind, share and forgive others.
God's love never ends — it is like a light that always shines.

John 3:16 (simple) — "God loves the world so much that He gave Jesus so everyone can have life."

(You can learn this by heart. Say it loud in Sunday school!)

Your mother or father hugging you when you are sad — that is God's love working through them.
Neighbours sharing food like ugali, sukuma wiki or tea with bread — caring for each other shows God's love.
Children at church helping to clean or sing — serving others is Jesus' teaching about love.
Helping a friend fetch water or carry books — small acts of kindness reflect God's heart.

Draw a picture of someone showing love (a family, a teacher, or friends). Put a big heart on the picture.
Role-play: One child pretends to be sad; another shows love by comforting them. Talk about how it feels.
Memory Jar: Write one kind thing you will do this week on paper and put it in a jar. At the end of the week, read them.
Sing: "Jesus loves me" (simple hymn) — sing it with your classmates or family.

Dear God, thank you for loving me. Help me to love others like Jesus. Teach me to be kind and to help those who need me. Amen.

Tip: Teachers and parents — use stories from the Bible and everyday life in Kenya to show how God's love works.
